First box help & other opinions

Hey guys, I'm trying to design my first box for my zcon18. The box will be going in the cabin (Pontiac Grand Prix), port up sub up, with the trunk & rear deck sealed. It's saying optimal ported is 7-8 ft^3 @31-37 hertz. I'm aiming for 32hz. If you could take the time and review this major headache I've gone through, I'd greatly appreciate it. The box is going to be 30" wide, 24" high, and 26" deep. The port is going to be 6" wide with a length of 32.5". Port height will be 24.5". I'm pretty sure the box before displacements will come to about 9ft^3. But with a .27ft^3 sub displacement and port displacement, will this box be adequate? I have 18ft^3 to work with, as well, so should I make this box bigger? Or would that be unnecessary?

Also, I work at a car garage, and I can get my hands on Deka "Precision Built" batteries, part number 1231mf. They aren't agm, but would this be fine as a backup in the trunk with proper ventilation?
