Finishing my system...am I doing it right?

Current set up;

Head Unit: Kenwood KDC-BT755HD

Fronts: CDT CL-61A-25 pro 6.5" components (rated 4ohm, 150rms each)

Rear: Boston Acoustic 746 4"x6" (actually a 4" component 4 ohms 80rms each)

Subs: 2 Fi SSD 12's dual one ohm VC (right now they're amped individually at 2 ohm looking to eventually wire them to a mono at 1 ohm)

Amps: 2 Kenwood KAC-7201 (460rms@2ohm)

Battery: Kinetik HC1800-BLU

Wiring: all KnuKonceptz; 1/0 power, 8 gauge to subs (speakers not amped so factory wiring at the moment)

and an old 1.5F capacitor

Big 3 is done

What I am planning on buying to finish it off;

replace the two Kenwood KAC's with a Sundown SCV-1500D(1500rms)

amp the speakers with a Sundown SAE-50.4 (50rmsx4 @ 4 ohm) rewire with KnuKonceptz ofcourse

and add a second Kinetik HC1800-BLU right next to the amps to replace my POS cap

I guess I have two concerns.

1. Will I be happy with the 50rms of the 4 channel or be wishing I bought bigger? The 100.4 is a little over rms for my rears and so I was considering an Incriminator IA3.4 (75rms) as the next step up. Also, the price jump from the 50.4 to the 100.4 is a big one. As far as my listening preference the factory HU is typically good enough for me but I occasionally wish it had more to give.

2. Do I need to upgrade my alternator or will the 2 batteries handle it. My factory alt. is 105amp. the two Sundown amps I am looking on getting have fuse ratings of 200amp alone. I'm worried I know what the answer will be but how much bigger would I have to go on a new alt?

If there are any suggestions (in the same price range) to improve on what I'm planning I'm open to ideas.

1. you can always turn gain down but not up. becasue the sudown does 100w you gont have to use the 100w. headroom is alwasy better for you and for the amps. so get the bigger 4 channel.

2. theres only one way to find out and thats by doing it and keeping a close eye on voltage.

What would you consider a dangerous voltage? and do I monitor voltage at the battery under the hood to protect vehicles electronics or monitor voltage at the 2nd battery to protect the amps or both?....which electrical system is at the biggest risk I guess is the question?

Very clean truck BTW I like it

i have my volt meter at my amps. i personally dont like seeing my stuff below 12.6 but some people dont mind 11s. but definately nothing under 11. its all in the amps and wqhat they can handle and how they are rated. some amps are rated at 12v some at 14v.

Anything below 13 I wouldn't like but "dangerous" is anything below 11 for sure. But don't take that as it's okay to run in the 12's..

You know I guess I should have ask but I just assumed a second battery comes before replacing the alternator. Is it possible that my factory alt running at 105 amps could be overwhelmed by two Kinetik HC1800-BLU's and 1800watts rms?
