Final setup, gonna order some tomorrow, any last minute advice?

The biggest reason I recommend the 2.5 is because it's got the highest RMS rating of any sub in its price range, and if you're like any other basshead you're gonna wanna be louder the week after you get your system in.

With the SDC all you'll have to do is buy a bigger amp, with the DCON, you'll need to redo everything.

How come deadener, foam, and mlv isn't part of your material list? They can do more to help your overall sound than the gear (in your price point) chosen.

I'm considering getting a little deadener for the doors but idk yet. What is MLV?

what rock do you listen to? SDC's do well with fast kicks, listened to a bunch of 80's metal tonight and was rather impressed...

I kinda listen to a wide variety but most of it is indie/alternative rock among others. But stuff like...

Kiss, the Beatles, Alkaline Trio (favorite band), manchester orchestra, Metallica, The Strokes, Tool, Chevelle, Interpol, Green Day, Rise Against. Plus a ton of just random artists/songs etc. My itunes is like 3500 songs so its hard to rly nail down a specific type but most of it is prob indie/rock stuff.

The rap portions is smaller, which will probably have most of the lows I'm guessing. It's mainly just like Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West, some lil wayne and as of recently. I downloaded a lot of decaf's stuff haha.

oh thanks, I dont even know how to use that. Plus looks kinda expensive. I might peel and seal the trunk and maybe deaden the front doors. I doubt I'll use foam.

There is an auto barrier kit that costs like $40 that will do one side of both doors. Then again I also see those speaker kits where it just goes around the speaker hole, do those actually work well or kind of a waste of money since its so little?

I have plenty of the music you mentioned, so we're good to go there.

Deadener would be nice, but on your limited budget it might not be feasible....

yeah all the damper I see is pretty expensive.

What do u think of this, anyone use it? I could get like 4 sheets for each door, and at least its something.
