Because I am a noob, im having a hard time deciding any input to help me make the decision is very much appreciated...maybe it will help if you know what I want:

Well Im tryin to put this system in the hatchback of my 93 Mitsubishi Eclipse, which isnt very roomy but can hold the box for sure. Anyway, Im mostly lookin for thunderous bass. Bass, alot of it, and loud thats my main concern. Sound Quality is important, but bass is above it. Basicly I want as much bass as possible with still decent SQ. Hmmm, choice B sounds good, but it depends on the condition of the used items. MA amps are ok, I can't vouch for their subs though. Some guys on here have them though so maybe they'll chime in.

Choice B all quality is good mechanics wise, but there are scuffs and scratches here and their.

I was wondering...with Choice B cant i like bridge the channels together or whatever and put 600 watts into that one sub, instead of choice A where the power will be split? wouldnt 600 in one be louder than 400 in 2?

There are a ton of factors in "loudness" power has a lot less to do with it than a lot of people seem to think.

In this case, the 2 subs will be able to displace more air than the single Kicker. That "tends" to potentially make the 2 louder, but the type of box, how well it's built, the tuning freq., etc. can all sway that in favor of the single Kicker. On top of that the MA subs might just plain **** and not be able to beat out the Kicker for that reason....but like I said I'm not an expert on the MA subs.

Yup... 600.1 .... It has only one channel, but two terminals, just for simple installation. Both terminals are attatched to the same channel ( + and + are actually one, - and - are actually the same as well.) Just convenience.

In this case choice B, quailty over quantity.

MA is just as good as audiobahn in my book.

choice B.....ma audio subs blow...thier amps are alright..... jbl IMO makes bette rmonoblocks and the kicker wil sound better...especially ported...
