Well I havent heard of the crystal, so I am saying the oz as I have heard my fair share of them. They are an awesome sub that gets loud and is clean.
The Crystal COMP is the upgraded version of their CMP which absolutely reigned supreme for a couple years as an SQ(L) sub 5-6 years ago. It was all you heard about on the boards... back when Alumapro Alchemies and SoundStream Exacts were its toughest competitors. I always meant to pick me up some, never did though (but heard plenty). The CMPx2 appears to be a significantly newer model driver altogether (but been a while since I looked at their specs).

Any of those Crystal subs are top-notch imo (never messed with the CMPx2 yet but its a step up from the CMP which is a very nice sub already.. so Im confident in that comment). Personally, if the specs and price were close between the two, Id chose Crystal over Oz Audio any day of the week.

Can't post a new topic under the speakers forum for some reason so Ill have to just post a reply here

Now that I have my subwoofer selected (Oz Audio Matrix Elite 10"s), I need recommendations on a good set of 6.5" components reasonably priced about $250 and under. I'm not above mixing brands to achieve the sound Im after, however I had been looking at the Oz Audio Vector components as an option. I have not been able to find enough comparison information or user reviews on them to buy me just yet. The Vector's are decently priced and look like nice components. What other suggestions can be made for nice midbass good output Power will be from an Orion 4004 or 8004 depending on the components chosen

Might have to check into those one day. They sound very interesting, but expensive, lol! I just never heard them before and well that is why I said go with oz. Now if they are better than the oz then yes that would be an awesome sub. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

To original poster wondering about what componets to get. I would keep those oz in mind as well. They make pretty good componets as well. But I wouldnt just stick with one brand unless you are dead set on that. Other top brands that make good componets are alpine,mb quart, focal,ID,CDT and some others I cant think of off hand. So good luck!
