Final Choice: Oz Matrix Elite 10 or Crystal COMP 10

Your general opinion between the two drivers. Enclosure space will be a stealth box under the rear seat of my 03 Ram QC. Sealed volume per side will be 0.7 before displacement. Power will be from a Hifonics Brutus BX1205D at 1 Ohm.

I would recommend the Oz also but im unfamiliar with the Crystal Comp's.

Reasoning behind your favortism over the Crystal COMP 10? They both look like phenomenal drivers that will perform great in my application, and price is no issue between them, I can get the Oz for $199 from a dealer and the Crystal for $229.

Yes because the guy selling them on eBay was pretty shady from what I remember. Id rather pay the extra $60.00.

Yes, according to an Oz rep on ECA... be very weary of the Oz MEs sold on E-Bay as most of the time they are actually refurbs or b-stock. So definately get them from that dealer as its still an excellent price.

Going with the OZ MEs and sending back my Hifonics BX1205D when it gets here in favor of an Orion 1200D or even a 2500D...but most likely the 1200D from Ike Sound since it is a fantastic price even though it is refurbished

if i were you, id look at the oz audio - being as they are cheaper and most likely new. crystal comps are supposed to be killer, but the price difference is a killer.

as far as amps goes, look into the diamond audio d61000.1 or somthing like that. im not a huge fan of orion amps at the moment.

Is that the Crystal Comp or CMPx2? If its the Comp, go with the Oz. If its the CMPx2, Id have to look a little closer at each one to decide.
