Take a look at how many people on this site ask for help with simple boxes. The math may be easy for 5% of the people into car audio, But 95% of the people into it is enough to make a very good living.I do hope you understand that I wasn't discrediting their work. I said that they charge the money because these calculations and layout work are difficult. I stated that the math was easy ... the work involved in getting it laid out correctly is hard.
95% of the people on this forum took algebra 1 and geometry and an easy class like math in business when in High School. That or they took a higher math class but didnt pay attention enough to retain the information and skills. I'd venture to say 70% or so are either still in high school or have recently graduated. Of thoes recently graduated a couple hand full are at a 4 year university taking classes for a hard major that requires Calc or another higher math.Take a look at how many people on this site ask for help with simple boxes. He is no revolutionary physicist.Revolutionary:
Let me give you a great example: Alan Dante did very close to a 180 db in extreme one with 1 woofer. Is it revolutionary...YES. Did he use revolutionary methods? No...it's still a bandpass. But his application of the bandpass is extra ordinary and it definitely works great...better than most people could possible ever imagine.

Very well put. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifSuperb? Ofcourse
Exceptional? Absolutely.
Outstanding? Definitely.
Extraordinary? Sure.
Revolutionary? Hardly.
Discovering the grand unified theory, proving the existance of dark matter and dark energy.......those events would be revolutionary.
Getting loud utilizing well established acoustical and physical laws is not.
16 x 32 x 44 .... but that is in no way accurate ... that just gives you a size perspective. I am not sure if you can fit the labrynth inside that (layout wise).
It takes some time to do this .. that's why he charges $$ for it ... but it sure as hell isn't difficult.
wow that a big box, i have room for 18H x 32W x 14Di dont think a phase box will do for me.
Numbers, data, properties applied to the design. What I've been asking for (beating around the bush for) since I first posted in this thread. Can anyone design a better performing box for a 6.5 inch woofer then this?
However, the only way we'll be able to compare would be after Tuan delivers objective numbers for us to compare against....
So how about those numbers Tuan?
Steve Meade posted an awesome way to measure the box on ROE as well...
And it was pretty easy for him to tell me I was dead wrong ... but he has yet to prove it.All that has been given is claims. Claims are easy to come by. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

alan's car is like 90% concrete and was meant for doing little else but make tones....i mean come on, its a volvo with a concrete roof, floor and most of the interior is raw. Thats not revolitionary, thats borerline illegal in competition.looking at the bold parti highly doubt he can play music at that level with his extreme 1 car and u also have 2 consider the car.not alll cars have the same size interior..he probably did those numbers in a small hatchback or something..but if he can play music and sound atleast halfway decent doing it.. then revolutionary will pop up in my mind buy for it 2 be mentioned he would have 2 do that kind of number on music in a novice class or something similar
