That's where your totally wrong. Denim doesn't always recommend products from SSA. It depends on the users setup and needs. Now you just are digging a huge hole for yourself.

While I agree that perhaps in some instances people will be drawn to those brands purely at the recommendation of some salesman seeing dollar signs from a commission in the back of his mind that's as far as I can go in agreement.

The underlying reason people are drawn to JL Audio, Kicker, and/or Alpine is because of name recognition and the inarguable fact that all three companies make quality products.
