So this is my first build ive done alone. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Big thanks to Vitveet for all his help and box design.

Amp is going to be BXi 2010d for now i plan to upgrade once i get my HO alt and my 0 gauge runs (using gay 4 gauge for now >

The box is 7.37 cubes, tuned to 32.9 hz. 4" Wide port with 90 SQ inches of port area.

Going into an Extended Cab Silverado, Took my rear seats out couple of weeks ago to get ready for this. Box is 52" Wide, 14.5 Deep and 24 Tall.

First of all im really pissed because i just realized i ****ed up my port and inside its 3.25 inches wide instead of 4 because i glued and screwed wrong.. Super mad about that. Sub hasnt arrived yet.

Using Metal rods for bracing since i ran out of wood for baffle.

Nice start.

The port is very important if you want to get the tuning right.

I say fix it for sure

you're smaller port is just gonna lower the tuning a bit....it also decreases you're port area....i would just try the box the way it is first, if you dont like it maybe you can fix it....what was you're tuning to begin with?

So i took the time to take it out sand it down and do the port the correct way lol. did all my caulking inside.

but just wondering the top doesn't sit perfectly on and leaves about a 1/8 inch of space on one end.. You think when i screw and caulk that down it will be fine?

As long as there arent leaks and the box doesnt flex you should be fine...

Just finished it just gotta go get 2 more rods since the Lowe's only had 2 left >

Had a 1 or 2 splits in the wood since my piece of **** drill bit snapped... sealed those up with caulk. Everything came out great Imo, still got a lot to learn but it was fun //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Got the final rods in and cut them down to size.

Wedges in perfectly and my amp sits cleanly underneath it. Getting either rope or some other sort of strong material to strap it down and make it sturdy.

I haven't gotten around to carpeting the floor im not sure if im going to paint or do a wood finish on it or what.. Any ideas?

Pop the back plate off and look at the internals...you might find something loose; same thing happened to my buddy, we just soldered this piece back on and it worked fine.

i did thisss besides the fact there is tons of **** that looks like dried up super glue, ill look again though.
