Few simple questions

Hey guys

I recently purchased my first amp and subwoofer and installed it with a friend.

I had a lot of adjusting to do when I first hooked it all up and it sounds great now.

I noticed when I turned my speakers all the way to the rear (I only have front speakers) that I could hear vocals coming out of my sub?? Is this a bad thing, and also can it be adjusted?? Would the SQ be better if adjusted properly??

Also, I have Alpine Type-S coaxles and was wondering if there is a budget speaker I should replace them with.

Do you guys recomend going to a car audio shop and having them help me set up all my settings or would that be a waste, and I should do it myself.

Thanks guys

check my previous post

there should be three x-over swithes. One is for the RCA pass through and the other two are for the front and rear channels. Just set em all to lpf.

No, im currently running my front coaxles off of channels 1,2 and my sub is bridged to channel 3,4.

This means turn channels 3,4 to the LPF mode and adjust the X-over frequency?

Sorry man these forums seem to really be lagging on my end

Since im only running the sub to channels 3,4 (bridged) I should only adjust the x-over setting for that channel correct?
