Few questions about subwoofers

I'm looking in to either buying 2 Sundown SA-12's or 2 Incriminator Audio Lethal Injection 12's, are these basically the same subs or is there one that stands out more then the other? I also plan on buying a Sundown SAX-1200D amp, so would I want dual 2ohm or dual 4ohm in either subwoofer I choose and how should they be wired? Series or Parallel?

you want dual 4 ohm. each sub individually will wire down to 2 ohms, then you parallel the 2 together to get 1 ohm. the 2 subs are about the same, with the sa-12 being able to take more power due to cooling. since you're only running 1,200, take your pick lol

Cool thanks for the info, but I have another question I'm sure you would know. I'm looking in to getting some 6.5 components and 6x9s, the ones I'm looking at getting are the Alpine Type R's. Is there better to be had and if so what would be some good ones?

There are many out there that are "better" per se..........but budget is always the determining factor outside of a simple listening test. Also, you should listen to a set in a car versus a sound board. Those are normally horrible product comparison demonstrations. If budget is of no real concern, and actually.....even if it is......the Hybrid Imagine series speakers are excellent for the money and they've got a guaranteed value for life.
