i think its easier to brace along the wall, than in the middle of the box.

but thats imo.....We all have our methods.....and sometimes what works for one, soesnt work for another.

The box has a much better sound when tapping on it when the bracing runs along the wall instead of from one wall to the other. I tried both methods of bracing with my last enclosure and having some bracing along the wall really stiffened things up. You can hear a very noticeable difference in sound when tapping near each braces. The wall to wall brace has a lower sound and has a slight resonating sound to it. The other brace doesn't give any sound. This may not decide which is stronger but I think I'll stick with the single wall bracing method from now on.

i rather do the bracing similar to the one in the pictures above, but horizontally just to cover more area of the wall. when you go from one wall to another, yeah you're bracing, but you're only covering one spot out of a full wall, so by bracing along the wall be it horizontally or vertically it will actual add more stiffness to the walls the it would by using the more traditional method.

if you look at my enclosures, youll notice that i have been using them for a while now and it most defenetly works for me.

I have the same car. A 95 Integra Coupe/Hatch. My new box is going to be 6.5cuft after displacements. What are the specs of the box? Is your max width about 29"? What's the dimensions of the box. Did you keep the rear seats in just had em folded down? I'm taking mines out completely. Box looks big *** hell. Can I see more pics, of the rear seat area, where the box stops? What amp is he running and where's he mounting it, what kind of amp rack? What kind of elect system as well.

Did you keep the rear seats in just had em folded down? I'm taking mines out completely. Box looks big *** hell. Can I see more pics, of the rear seat area, where the box stops? What amp is he running and where's he mounting it, what kind of amp rack? What kind of elect system as well.

Dimensions of the box are 32 wide, 15 high, 40 deep!!! for now i just folded them down, but they will come out soon!!! ill upload some pics of the rear seat for you but as far as amp rack, it will go where the bottom part of the back is at!! The amp is a incriminator 20.1!!

Electrical system will be a iraggi 200 amp!!! with either some kinetik 2400's or nsb 125 batteries havent decided yet!!

Same amp I'm going to run! I want to see the amp rack setup. I have something planned for my setup already. Pretty neat I see another integra with a big box like i'm going to have and the same amp. The box is 32" Wide? WTF!! I measured a few times and I swear max was 29" wide. Do know how you're going to have the amp rack/batteries setup? There's not much room left that I notice with such a huge box. I have an amprack laid out already. I'm also going to run the same alt (Iraggi 200amp). Did you get quote like 400$? Also going to run same batteries, hc2400s.

yeh 32 wide fits easy with room to spare actually the widest you can go is 33 wide!!! I havent made an amp rack but once i take the back seats out it will go in!! Yes i got the quote like 419 shipped for the alternator!! batteries will be either on the floor behind the front seat or where i currently have one in the back corner by the little light!!!
