Both Magnepan and Audio Research are based in Minnesota, so I know there's good audio up in the Great White North //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

So, I listened to some B & W 80whatevers. Nice, but nothing that moved me to want to dop anywhere near the $4,500 asking price. Then I listened to some Paradigm's, they were alright, but when he said they listed for $1,500 I had little interest in them. I really did not think that they sounded better than the Klipsch RF 62's for $800.

Minnesota ~6 hours away. There is nothing in the UP, I know there is stuff in Wisconsin and Minnesota for sure. AE Speakers is in Green Bay, WI. I visited John a few weeks back and saw his shop, it was pretty cool. I should be going back soo.

I haven't really liked the new Klipsch stuff at all, other than the reissues of the Heritage lines.

$800 could get you a lightly used pair of La Scalas, which would blow those RF62s away in every regard //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

ehh try adding at least $500 on to that $800 for La Scalas, plus they're incredibly hard to find nowadays
