factory hu putting out engine noise

trying to install a req5.

when i take the signals from the factory amp i get engine noise though.

is that even possible?

when the factory system is in theres no whine, so how could there be now, im just taking the signal.

any help, please?

the req5 (sound processor) works fine when i take the signal from anything else, its only when i take it from my car that i get the noise

yean whine through speakers that go with the rpm.

or alternator whine, same thing.

I have the same issue with my KQ9. i put a better ground on 1 set of RCAs and the whine was lessened. I'm gonna try to do it to all of them to see if that helps at all.
