How would this do in a 2cubes box tuned to 35hz? Do these get as loud as Type Arghs?

i have owned type r's and they arent necessarily louder than type R's pretty much the same there... but these play alot lower...

ya 2 cubes and i would prolly tune lower than 35 maybe 28

Is that just your sale technique? lol If it gets as loud as my old type r but will play lower, I will buy this. How about the box I mentioned?

well if i had a type r right now... i would throw them on a TL lol....

i owned a trio of type rs that i ran daily for 2.5 years... great subs... this is a similar sub but the suspension is alot looser with alot more excusion than a type are...better cooling... i dunno what the fs is on a type r but i am sure this sub would show up as a 25 or so fs.

o ya and i went back and edited the comment regarding the box

if you got at least 600 watts at hand at 4 or 1 ohms ur good to go. i'd pesonally change the port up some but it will wang still at 35 hertz.
