Extra battery and ho alternator

I am now looking to purchase a Rockford T2500. Will be running that to a 12" AA Mayhem at 1 ohm. I have a stock alternator but have the big 3 waiting to be installed. I literally have no knowledge on extra batteries and ho alternators. Do I need both ? What is the proper amperage and size of battery for what I am running ?

Need some your guys expertise on this because like I said I know nothing about this stuff.

First of all, I wouldn't buy the Rockford.

Alternator depends on your vehicle.

A 270 amp large case hairpin and a group 31 AGM would be plenty to demo all day at idle if you wanted to be really safe.

The rf amps are hard on a cars electrical. Not very efficient. But still strong. In your car you have the eld system for the alt that really sux but yes I'd get the alt. A bypass and 2-3 agm batteries

They are abit less efficient but you get a MUCH wider output bandwidth through your impedance variance. to me thats worth it if you have the electrical to substain it.

That's a stretch.

I'd take the Twisted 1.8 if my money was being spent. Bonus if you can find one used.

Hell, if you can find a used Skar, Crescendo, Ampere, ect. amp in your price range, that's what I'd go with.

Used is where you're going to find the best deals, besides new product "promo's" like my 7k's

2600.i know at 14.4 the RF does more than 2500..

RF doesn't lie. one reason i respect them. they are actually a good company.

I've used nothing but RF amps, love'em they are definitely strong but, expensive. Running a 40001bd very soon they have been dynoed at 5200 watts.

battery. I was told my friend about kinetik or xs power ? I'm assuming those aren't ''agm''..And where is good place to buy alternators ?
