I think if one was careful My 96' F-350 turbo diesel dually could fit a VW bug in the bed alone. We like to use that mainly as a wood truck as with the 8' high bed we can get a little more than 5 chords of firewood in just the bed. When it comes to pulling something with mileage in mind we just use the 08 GMC 3500 HD. It's really funny how people think that diesels get shitty mpg, yet they can't believe it when I say it will get 26-28mpg on the highway. Have to love that new 6.6 Duramax W/ Allison ****** //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif computer has been played with a bit though hehe.

Can only imagine what one with a stock bed without the crane, air compressor, and boxes full of tools would get
Good to see another diesel guy on here, I generally fully totally outnumbered when reading/posting on this site lol. As much as I am a Ford guy that GMC looks pretty nice, as trivial as it is I always put the GMC trucks 1 notch above the bow ties lol.

I keep seeing all these new micro cars, the Yaris, Fit, Mini Coopers, ect and keep wanting to get a few buddies, or just one of our excavators, and place it into my bed lol. Now thats the best in MPG, it gets around for free as long as you don't count my fuel costs lol.

It took me a little while to figure out diesel is really where the power is. I mean, I have known they can pull the side of the building down when it comes to torque, but until recently they haven't really been known for much else. However, when you can average 26MPG when pulling something through the mountains with the cruise set at 75MPH, that will make you see the light.

A good friend of mine just bought a new Tundra, and man what a joke that thing is compared to the 3500 HD. But he is happy with it, //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif even though he is only getting 20mpg. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif The 3500 out classes it in EVERYTHING, except price lol.

It applies to the suspension and movement of tires as it would to the human body with joints and rotation.
Gotcha. I was thinking it was more about the steering while the suspension was all over the place, as seen in another post. Thanks for the clarification.

Built my first lowrider when I was 15..1973..Then and now the Police and law enforcement look upon lowriders as a criminal menace. The first lowriders had cut springs,then,hydraulics...punched out A-frames,double pumps, tanks, batteries.By the way, hydraulics in the state of Calif.are illeagal. They are extremely unsafe. They are also cool.Who cruises the 'mall' anyway?
