Wow! That's quite a collection. Lol! You got a bunch of subs laying around as well? I'm 40 years old and I got into this a little when I was younger. Wish I would've gotten into it more. Probably would've kept me out of all the trouble I got into. It's a fantastic "hobby". Little expensive but it doesn't have to be. You can do budget build after budget build. Think it's more fun that way anyway.

what are some pretty decent (2) 10'' budget subs with a budget amp? since ive been advised that 2 10'' subs would sound really with SQ in my vehicle. I understand that the box is going to cost more. My budget would probably have to be around $350 for both subs and amp. Thanks in advance guys!

Guys may come up with some better woofers. I have just always enjoyed infinity reference woofers and they're dirt cheap for how decent they are Infinity Reference 1060W Car subwoofer driver - 275 Watt

With the savings you could get that MB Quart MB Quart ONX1.1000D - ONYX Class D Monoblock Car Amplifier/Amp

That would be a decent little budget setup.

Dcons and an Onyx to power them would be pretty sweet.

I'd get the Dcons and the 1k Onyx that will be easy on your electrical thus having really good results, up to you whether to get the S4 ohm coil or the D4 ohm coil, the D4s you could run at 1ohm and get 1k watts, or the S4s you could run at 2 ohms and get 750 watts, I'd prob go with the D4s.

2 SSA Dcon D4s and the MB Quart Onyx 1000d would be a good first setup....better than most.

If you can though I'd go ported over sealed with the Dcons...they are little beasts in small ported enclosures.

Yep exactly. Overhead is nice because you can start out feeding the subs rated power and then slowly hike it up and see how they handle it. I'm sure they can handle 500 clean watts a piece though.

use the search bar or check the classified's they are a popular sub so I'd expect them to go up for sale sometime. You can place a WTB want to buy thread too, check other car audio sites that have classifieds CACO DIYMA...not sure if those have classifieds I only ever am on CA.com
