after amping my fronts i am stuck.the h.p. x over on the amp starts at 80 hz (this option seems to have almost no bass-not even mid in the speakers? and if i use the full range option on the amp the speakers are obviously over powerd when the lows hit.they are 5.25 woofers with a tweet 8ohm and they are also running via the passive x over that was in the origional (bookshelf) speaker they were in? so im thinking some kind of simple 2 channel x over / eq that give me variable x over points from about 40 upwards so i can tweak my fronts to exactly where i want them.i have noticed often that signal processors 'hiss' i definately dont want that- just a tried and tested works well cheap crossover / eq that i can find on e bay for about $70 + or -a few cents? any ideas.i also tried an in-line bass blocker to block 100hz and down and still the drivers were 'poping' at higher volumes? its a lanzar vibe amp (its got 600 watts) written on it? so maybe 80 wrms per channel? 2 channel. any advice / help appreciated.
