enough amps for 600 watts?

I am about to order a jbl 600.1 but before i do i just want to be positive that a stock '97 Ranger electrical system will be able to handle it b/c i don't have the cash to go get my alt rewound.

Hello,,,

I have a 95 ford ranger with a stock alternator and i am running two 760watt pioneer amps. the lights dim on the heavy bass notes but it does ok

yeah you should be ok with that......i have a 1200.1 jbl and a 300 memphis amp running off my stock zj jeep. and the worst is that the lights dim lightly.
