yeah youre right. god knows why a handful of amps would scare a Sun. I thought the Sun was powerful enough in the sky???OEM wanted them gone coz of complaints and THREATS! plain and simple!

and yes, you need a minimun order of A LOT, to even get your own brand made in the first place, which would take a lot of capital etc. so i see no reason why a few samples here and there would hurt anything.

see cry babies do this....first they threaten and complain. and for what?? over 4 **** sample amps wit not even a name on them?!??! WTF????

then the second/ thrid time, actually make their next order SLIGHTLY smaller by cancelling some units in order to basically scare the OEM, who, is scared s***less coz they're worried about losing a customer. even though the OEM controls the power, can live without the Sun, but like any business, more sales the better, right?

now of course, the cry baby would NEVER cancel their entire orders or jump ship, coz they know he needs them more than they need him. and it would screw up everything in the amp line. but by canceling JUST a few to make a statement, the OEM will listen.

how do i know this?? trust me. I KNOW FIRST HAND!.

i understand completely the OEM side! they're are looking out for their best interest.

Can someone explain to me how pictures of an amplifier on the internet would even remotely warrant:

a) Jacob complaining

b) Zenon saying anything to 02parkave

c) Assuming that Jacob was the complainant

Are these the ones Dave had for sale a while back?

It sounds to me like some have decided Jacob is already guilty, but I'm not sure I follow what evidence (none?) supports that or why he would react to this in the first place.

Follow my thought process for a moment and tell me what I'm missing:

1. Zenon is the amplifier buildhouse for many companies, including but not limited to Sundown Audio.

2. The thread starter bought unbranded Zenon amplifiers (from Dave from RE, I think).

3. SnoopDan, a known RD Audio guy, and 02parkave, a known Sundown hater), believe it's Jacob that requested the pictures be removed.

4. There is no reason for any company to respond negatively to this thread.

5. There is no reason for Zenon to respond to that company's requests regarding this thread.

6. There is no evidence that Jacob is in anyway related beyond the fact that Zenon makes the Sundown Audio amplifiers.

Again, maybe I'm just missing something, but it sounds more like people who don't care for a company are making unsubstantiated guesses and marring someone's character unnecessarily.

1. yes, they arent ONLY limited to sundown. but sundown IS an EXISITING customer and therefore listens to complaints whenever people do so 3 times

2. WRONG! they were not bought from Dave at RE

4. Ummm. this is the whole point of this discussion. why in the heck someone would even care to complain over unbranded samples with PCBs that "look" similar, but are actually BIGGER than the SAZ-1500D ???

5. why isnt there any reason??? they're a business. if someone complains, its normal the company will look into it. are you saying if you had a business and someone complained to you, that you wouldnt act at all?? i wish it was the case here over such a trivial matter!!

need more proof???? this seems to be the only thread along with the other past ones where they dont respond in when they see their brand being mentioned.

you are missing quite a bit of info. some very important info at that. I got the amps straight from zenon. sundown was mentioned when the request to remove pictures was recieved. please do not post unless you know the facts.

EDIT: also i have nothing against sundown. why would i be labled a "hater"? i have recommended them quite often (and will continue to do so) i dont run fi either, so i must hate them also!!!! gget real friend.
