I was at work when the pics were posted and couldn't see them but I don't see why they had to be taken down. From my understanding, these oem's will not sell single units to the average person rendering the idea that this whole forum will up and buy some is pretty ridiculous. Secondly, with most if not all of these places they have an order minimum like that would most likely only be feasible for someone who was wanting to start their own company. So the only thing I can see that would upset anyone is the possibility another upstart would buy the same amps and rebadge them which is the whole reason the oem's are in business.

yeah youre right. god knows why a handful of amps would scare a Sun. I thought the Sun was powerful enough in the sky???

OEM wanted them gone coz of complaints and THREATS! plain and simple!

and yes, you need a minimun order of A LOT, to even get your own brand made in the first place, which would take a lot of capital etc. so i see no reason why a few samples here and there would hurt anything.

see cry babies do this....first they threaten and complain. and for what?? over 4 **** sample amps wit not even a name on them?!??! WTF????

then the second/ thrid time, actually make their next order SLIGHTLY smaller by cancelling some units in order to basically scare the OEM, who, is scared s***less coz they're worried about losing a customer. even though the OEM controls the power, can live without the Sun, but like any business, more sales the better, right?

now of course, the cry baby would NEVER cancel their entire orders or jump ship, coz they know he needs them more than they need him. and it would screw up everything in the amp line. but by canceling JUST a few to make a statement, the OEM will listen.

how do i know this?? trust me. I KNOW FIRST HAND!.

i understand completely the OEM side! they're are looking out for their best interest.

its just pricks that ruin everything for small guys like us!!
