Electrical upgrade and amp question

I've got a 2 part question here.

First off, I just bought 2 12' Alpine Type X, and I'm trying to find a decent amplifier to run them. I'm kind of set on Hifonics and have been told that the Brutus 2400 is a good choice. I'd imagine its overrated, power wise, but have been told its close. I plan on running these subs at 2ohms and do not want a lot of overkill power. Again, I'm set on Hifonics. There's a 2200w, a 2400w, and a 3000w. Wondering which one fits best? Please toss me advice.

Secondly, the amount of power I'm about to push I'm sure demands an electrical upgrade. I plan on the Big 3 for sure. But I'm guessing I need to be in the market for a second battery. People tell me to get a Kinetik, and I'm wondering what size I need to comfortably run these subs on the amp were discussing. Hopefully, I won't need another alternator, and a battery will work fine. But if kinetik will do the trick, I REALLY NEED HELP with what size to get.

So, I'm thinking the brutus2400w at 2ohm with whatever size kinetik is most suggested. Please help

: )

the subs are dvc 4ohms, but ill wire them to a 2ohm load. the stock alternator isnt worth mentioning....its a 1997 dodge Avenger

the opinions ive been getting on power supply has differed too much to make a solid decision. some people say that if i do The Big 3, and buy a very nice big battery, a 2400w amp wont be too much to handle. others say just add a kinetik, and others say another alternator. in a perefect world, the big 3 and a nice fat battery is how id like to do it, but i have a bad feeling lol.

and would taking them down to 1 ohm require a different power supply?

i cant decide which would be better for me. they say type x SQ is fantastic, even at 1ohm. im a fan of the initial "Hit" of the bass more than the long basslines. id much rather feel the punch, if you know what i mean.

Your battery is stock right? If so, you're going to want a new battery anyway. So what I would do is buy the battery, do the big 3, and buy a voltage meter. See what voltages you are hitting and dropping down to. If you listen to it loud a lot, doesn't matter how big that single battery is, your stock alternator isn't going to be able to recharge it. But if you listen moderately, you might be fine with just a new battery, which you want anyway. So get the battery, watch voltages, and then if you are dropping too much, turn it down until you can afford a bigger alternator.

Just what I would do.

Edit: That's for the two smaller amps. For the 3kW, you're pretty much staring a bigger alternator right in the face.

So getting 2 smaller amps is the way to go? And if that's the case, would I need a second alternator? Or just a nice new big battery? And what size amps would I get? 2 1250w-ish?? Or is 4ohm acceptable?.... God, I'm waaaay out of my knowledge comfort zone here..

So u recommend running 1 amp at 1 ohm on the 2500 u mentioned? That's sounds good to me! And what specs am I looking for in a battery and alt? I want to be able to COMFORTABLY handle up to 4k watts and eliminate dimming...
