Thats right bishes...
Just curious what ill be needing to upgrade? My stock Alt is 135 and its going in the truck in the sig. Ill obviously do big 3 but what else?

Also looking for some ideas of what to hook it up to, thinking about 2 15" Qs with BP, but feel free to suggest...

are you saying im going to need to upgrade the battery under the hood AND get a second one? Id rather not do that, any other way to just have a single batt under the hood and still run this amp?

get the biggest battery under the hood you can fit and see if it works

You might be able to get out of a high output alternator by adding a second battery. You can always just try it out and see what happens.

Were talking a KInetic HC 1800 / 2400 or something that would barely fit.

group 31 yellow tops would work, stinger 1700, we are talking huge batteries.

,

Seriously check classifieds and get at least a second battery do the math for 3000watts at 12 volts and you will see how far your electrical is lacking.

Seriously we are not trying to harsh you or your amp.

Maybe you could wire it to do 1500 or 2k tops on stock elelctrical and you are still gonna get some voltage drop.

I would wire it up at Half of what it can do and watch voltage if it stays above 12 then add second battery and drop ohm load again.

Naw man, thats what im asking for. No worries. I just dont want to add a second batt, unless i could fit 2 smaller batts under the hood, i just dont like how it looks. Kinda takes away from a clean install if you have a battery sitting in the open.

Are you saying that if i get a kinetic 1800/2400 that i would only need one?

ya i figured id have to get something really big, what exactly should i be looking for when it comes to batteries? What are the specs that i need to consider?
