any other suggestions? i don't need navigation as i just use my phone. it would be cool if it linked up to my phone. i want xm and i want good sound quality.

I have the AppRadio4 - It does not have a cd/dvd player but I have one in the wife's car and we have never used the dvd part so I got one without it. The Apple CarPlay is kinda cool but if you have droid I would do some checking on compatibility first before I would spend that much. I could never get my Galaxy S5 Active to connect to it except for using bluetooth or aux so I gave up and got an iPhone 6+. Now before anyone jumps the bandwagon on OS wars, for the record I like both. Each has there pos and neg and to each there own to what OS camp you prefer. I was just stating my experience in this particular situation.

I will mention also that with the CarPlay - it uses the navigation on your phone on the HU (mine does) - I would look at some youtube vids to see what all it does.

i have an iPhone 6 so i am leaning towards the pioneer 4100nex. if anyone knows a better option let me know
