That I don't know, but I bought it from bnr parts.

Might have to find someone who knows if u can bypass a internally regulated alt with a ext reg..if its possible then all u will need is the transpo

Any alt can run an external reg. but the alt has to be made for it. You just can't take your alt and add the transpo reg. doesn't work that way

Thats what i wanted to know ..i knew any alt can be ext reg..but didnt know if u could bypass it . @argenis69; time to save up for a singer mechman or dc

Basically the alt has to be rebuilt to make it externally regulated and add the transpo reg

Before I bought this one, I first called mechman and singer and they don't make my alternator with an external reg. Thanks for the your work though.

They can make any alt ext reg ..i think u either talked to a idiot or they misunderstood..any alt they make can be ext reg..might wana call back

Well, as what I remember, at mechman they told me that the external reg is mostly only for American vehicles.

Someone is full of it lol..they all wire up the same exact way ..you dont use the factory plug at all ..so someone fed u bs
