Electrical problem.

Hello guys new to the forum.I have a quick question. My system consists of 4rockford 12 inch T1woofers,two Rockford fosgate bd1500.1 mono amps,and a one Rockford 4 channel amp(maybe 600 watts),I also have a yellow top optima up front,two red top optima batteries in the trunk,200 amp alternator and when I go to crank the car it's completely dead the morning after I've driven it.I bought the car with all this stuff in it.I'm thinking maybe the two red tops optimas in trunk are not working because I bought the yellow top and alternator new recently and two days after I had to jump car off.any suggestions would be appreciated guys

Ok I just had it rebuilt .also it was doing this before I added new battery and alternator.the car sat for about a year before I bought it do you think I should try charging the red tops in the trunk.

Disconnect all of the batts from each other and test each one seperately and see what the resting voltage of each is. Also see what ur alt is putting out. And I am not 100% sure, but I believe red tops should be used up front and yellow tops in the back.

this. the optima rep on this forum even said not to use red tops as backups. they are strictly starter batteries.

Red top is a wet cell iirc and the yellow tops are deepcycles, hence why the red top should be used up front and the yellow tops in the back. Deepcycles are safe to use as starter batts but I suggest only using a battery that has a high discharge rate, otherwise you will shorten the lifespan of the battery by doing frequent large current pulls

Great question I'll check that out.do you think two d31t yellow tops would be fine in trunk along with the yellow top under hood
