I had a 2100w autotek hooked up for a few months and about a week ago i hooked up a 1600w brutus. The brutus is melting other non related wires in my car. This happend to me some years ago so i just sold the car but i want to keep this one. Any ideas why this is happening?

pics of the melting?  wire sizes?  melting due to thermal?  need details and pics help.

I assume you have the power wire for the amp wired directly to the battery and not to the fuse box.
