Alright I'm putting together a system I'm going to have 4-Hifonics HFi3000D for my subs, 1 Boss NX3000.4 on my mids and 4 ways, and a Kicker IX500.4 on my tweeters. How many 275 amp alternators do I need, and how many XS Power D6500 Batteries do I need.

Get rid of the boss. Rule I use 100 amps to every 1K, I wold guess 2 add batteries as needed. Go to Kinetics website it will give you recommendations

Thats over 12K RMS if the Hifis do rated. I'm guessing they dont

I hate that **** man! Bad *** subs and some crap amp. Sorry to offend but its the same thing as having rims worth more then the car and car worth more then the house!

Well when I do my system I know its probably not going to be there. Its mostly likely going in a 2007 Expedition EL, or 2005 Suburban. I know I want 4-Fi BTLs in a box tuned around 28-29Hz. And have about $20k to blow on it.

Based on the way you worded your original post, I'd agree that you need to learn more about car audio before you plan on running multiple amps, 4 subs, etc.

What's the highest output alternator that will fit your vehicle? Get that. Get the biggest battery that will fit under your hood. Have multiple runs of 0 gauge wire, and you'll probably need a couple of batteries by your amps.

But that's all if you are really going to have four BTLs run at 2k+ each, plus two different amps for your front stage.
