eld byoass not working

step one - you can hear/feel the relay change state when you use the toggle switch or turn on/off the car. always check that first.
step two - measure voltage across the ELD. this is basically done between relay pin 30 and the black ELD ground wire. the pics in my thread with dual meters used some wiring from my ELD wiring intercept into the car. normally, you won't be able to do that as easily. for the thread, i wanted to demonstrate what voltages you should see.
going by those color codes i messed up.........
 
send me a pic of the relay harness you used (so i can see where each color wire goes) and i'll tell you exactly what color each wire should do. each relay harness may use different colors. there isn't a standard. i've seen white and black as coil, and yel, blue, red as contacts. it can vary, which can throw you off.

if you got the exact same wire color arrangement as the ebay link - then my directions above are accurate. the pic will help verify.
