Thinking of getting the 5435 or the 5425.

Question

1 - Is there a pause on any of the above decks? If so were???

2 - Would i notice a difference at all going from an Alpine 7873???

3 - are the featuers from the 5435 compared to the 5425 worth going to the 5435??

Yes, there is a pause button. It is the number 3 along the bottom of the deck.

Mike gett is correct, puase = preset #3

As far as advantages you'll be able to play windows music aplicator on CD-Rs and a 5 pattern back light display. It's your call.
