EC Series 1 Build

You may already know this, but FYI anyways.

If you have a fixed router, not plunge, and want to cut out holes for drivers, etc.,

*Using a pencil, draw a precision hole on the wood.

*Use your drill with a large size bit, lets say 3/8" - 1/2" and drill a hole on the inside

of the hole you drew.

*Place your fixed router on the wood and insert the router bit in that hole you drilled.

Now you can cut out the hole using the router/jig.

What you really need is not a Jasper and a hand router but a multi-bit CNC machine: speaker holes, terminal cutouts, flush mounting, port holes, roundovers, etc. all super accurate and all in one pass. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

You want to buy me one?

Past point of diminishing returns maybe...? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

Give me decent tools, and as long as it isn't terribly complex design I bet I can do it in less time and still be pretty **** precise. *That time includes setup/loading/etc)*

Not saying that it wouldn't be cool as hell though. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
