look here, tell me what yall think. i just won a bid off of ebay for and amp. 355dollars. it says contact seller for shipping and i did,but he didnt get back wit me. so the auction ended and i got ready to pay, BOOM......45 dollars for shipping. so i contact the seller again, he respond this time saying 45 dollars was for his time, gas, and package., besides 15-20 dollars difference on 400 dollars deal is nothing. maybe he has a point on 15-20 dollars but its the principle of things. i told him if he cant break that shipping price, sell it to the next bidder.so tell me if im wrong or would yall do the same.

all the $$ should be clearly shown in the e bay auction. if it wasnt clearly written in the auction then phuk him and back out.

if ebay wants to know why just tell them he tried to add $$ in the shipping charges but didnt state that in his auction.

i bet $20 if he is trying this the amp is bad anyway= scammer, leave it.

id say you have the right to do that...

did the auction list shipping specifics? or did it just say buyer to pay shipping costs?

if its the latter, you bought the amp and agreed to pay the shipping cost, you didnt offer to pay him for his services. sounds like a greedy prick who thinks alot of himself if he is trying to charge all of that...

beat me to it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

ive seen that kind of "scam" before on items that are listed to sell really cheap... ie, a $5 item that carries a $30 shipping charge //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

I have backed out of a few winning auctions because the seller tried to get me for some outragious shipping price just because I won the item cheap. I had one seller tell me shipping for a set of Audi HID lights was going to be $89 and another seller tell me shipping for three Shimano reels was going to be $65. I understand adding a service charge but some of them are retarded w/ their shipping prices. I did not get any back feedback for backing out of those few auctions that I did.

I shipped an amp about two months ago and w/ shipping charges and packaging material, it came out to around $26. I did buy a good box, bubble wrap, tape and paid for the extra insurance.

like i said, i contact him hours before it ended and he never responded.its a alpine 150 x4, and i really want one but he can keep this one, even if he change the shipping to 10 dollars. i cant support his family.

no, they keep some of the shipping charges to even it out. i've bought items like that and the items are still good quality. not sure about electronics because i don't buy cheap electronics.

if its the PDX you wanted he could **** near get it in usps flat rate box

you should have waited a week I would have sold you mine, I just have to put my ARC 4200 SE in, or I may just keep the PDX and sell the Arc, if you get it I think your really gonna like it, I was reading where they have been getting a good rep on the SQ circuit
