Ebay sub stage......your input

ok my friend is looking for some 12" subs +amp+ box and is budget is $280

i told him i could get it for him. as i was looking in ebay and i found these

the subs arent bad i had the old model that red and black series 3 10's in a prefab sealed box with only 500rms going to them and they got loud and sounded good for the money i paid

so the subs and box are decent but the amp is garabage it wont put out much power for those subs

yeah that amp wont push hard at all... BUT.. if your buddy hasnt ever had a system he'll probably be happy either way..

For $280, just get it. As long as the person never had a system before, they'll be happy for awhile.
