k now im a little lost on DVC subs...so if i were to buy a 15" comp-vr, i would get the 2ohm or 4ohm version? im gueessin 2 right? and what are the specs of the amp i would need. Thanks

That way you can wire it down to 2 ohms which is the best for most amps.
