Dual Amp Question.

Depending on the amps they probably won't like being bridged to 2 ohms. If you plan on wiring them to 8 ohms, you may as well wire both of them to one amp @ 4 ohms and call it good.

Assuming that the amps can handle the load, there's nothing "wrong" with using 2 amps on 2 subs, but you need to take care to match the gains to get the best performance out of the setup. If you can partition the box into 2 chambers that would be better.

You should also take note that bridging amps like that will make them heat up very quickly. I dont know what kinda amps you have, but my opinion is this, sell those 2, and get you a good quailty mono block amp, and you will be more pleased with that, as well as your elecrical system. One more question, do you have the eletrical system to run both amps, oea, i should say 3 amps, im sure you have a amp for your front stage!!!

Thank you very much for the answer. I didnt even think about the subs seperatley being 2 or 8 ohms and yes my Amps will not bridge to 2 ohms.

Again thanks.
