Drifting RC's ?

I'm suprised at all the RC guys that are on here.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

its really not THAT difficult to get setup right if your notl ookin to compete. PVC will do fine for most the average "i want to drift my RC" guys. a mid turn motor (15-18) wouldbe good, but i always ran the higher turn monster motors. i always wanted a yokomo, but never got one. i used a tl-01 tamiya around the house, red springs out back and yellow up front, and PVC tires for outside, electrical taped rubber for inside pissin off the cats.

hpi came out with a new drift gyro, hook it up to the receiver and it does the countersteering for you and all lol

who else is into rc? ive been racing offroad 1:8 buggys for a couple years now

have a mugen mbx5 prospec for racing and some bashing cars but havnt really touched rc this season

I have never been into rc's I just saw this video and thought it was pretty friggin cool so I posted it. I dig the detail they put into their cars. I think the coolest rc I ever had was when I was 12 and it had two sets of tank tracks I cant remember the name of it. Man I thought that thing was fast till I put it though a puddle. Puddle + electronics FTL !!

ill upload a vid of me messing around while tunning my buggy for the track

racing is cool to watch its just like real racing, just smaller lol

heres a still from like 3 years ago when i raced my truck

racing an xray xb8 right now, waiting on the losi , and team magic buggies to come out before I upgrade. Sitting second in points at our local track with 4 more races to go this season //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Lookit the movie credits all of those r/cs are extremely high end cars.. yer lookin at $300+ for just the kit with no motor or electronics to control it... I'm sure you can buy a ready to run car for $400 and dial it in todo the same tricks..

definately 4 wheel drive..

my modded XMod can drift very easily...

x2 nice tho i think i should start looking for my xmod //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

i like the xb8 was gonna buy it but i like my mugen too much //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

There's a guy locally running one of the mugen pro specs. But there is no part support anywhere around here for miles for them . People mostly run either kyosho, or ofna //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
