I almost went with the HSK's but I dont want to do this again for a long while so I bit the bullet and bought the higher line MLK's. Hopefully it will be worth it!

speakers sound is dependent on the install......TAKE YOUR TIME.

I've heard $1500 components sound no better than my stock components just because of the install. Having the best products doesn't mean a thing if they aren't installed properly!

Hopefully I have the door sealed and deadened well enough. About the only holes that I will have is were the cables for the door locks come thru. But they will be small.

a great way to do that is to build the baffle to cover the hole....

I would beef up around the baffle area a lot more . and completely seal off the edged etc.

I decided to continue the build this Sat. and build some baffles that will cover the stock 5 x 7 hole. Then I will know that I have done my best to totally enclose the door and deaden it.

1/2 inch MDF will work. I am actually making my new baffles/spacers out of 1/2 inch but I need a total of one inch so I will double up.

I use raamat and it works pretty well and is easy to use.
