They are dual 4s, and i looked around about ported the box, and people didnt recommend it. If i did go about porting it. Would it make a big difference? i didnt port from the beginning cause i had no experience in box building. this is my first. these speakers are 4ohm DVC. I cant wiring them both too 2ohms cause together they would be 1 ohm. and that amp cant handle 1 ohms i dont think

Yeah, because then you have the box helping out the sub therefor you get more bass. But also thats not very many watts going to those subs so be careful not to clip because your gains are set to high.

So if i were to fully Power these Subs to 500rms each, they wouldnt clip as bad as 300 or so rms going to them?

ported will be much better as long as you get it designed properly.

power your running has nothing to do with clipping

clipping is when your trying to get an amp to make more power than it can.

if your clipping your subs you need to turn the gain down.

if you can, sell the amp and get a better amp that is 1 ohm stable. and for the box build, go ported

The amount of power going to them has nothing to do with if you're clipping them. But from a few posts up where you mentioned they're, "over powered and start to sound like they're distorting" , that sounds like you are clipping them trying to get more out of them. 500 clean watts is a HELL of a lot better than 300 clipped watts. Subs will last longer...

They're decent budget amps, I'd just be a little weary of running at 1 ohm. Some people say they will last, others say they dont. So at best it might be a toss up at 1 ohm. I've got the brutus 2K running at 4 ohms, I dont ever plan to run it at 1 ohm just so I can hopefully keep it going.

you could also get either an audiopipe 1500 or mb quart dsc 1500 and keep the gain way down, i would lean more towards off actually. that will also give you the ability to upgrade to more powerful subs in the future.

Getting a lot of power at 4 ohms can get expensive, trust me I did a whole bunch of searching since my sub is a svc 4 ohm.
