i have a 97 dodge ram 1500 sport, and im trying to install an 8" JBL sub and an orion or kenwood amplifier. first, the kenwood is a 400w 4 channel amp, and the orion is 2 channel with 280 watts and im trying to set up the JBL with the orion, i bought the truck from a guy who had already installed a system, and just cut the cables and took his stuff out. i have the cables, and i think theyre the right ones. my amp doesn't get any power, and the wires are hooked up to the battery, maybe im plugging them in the wrong way, or maybe i am wrong and theyre not hooked up? i dont know anything about installing car audio, so please help!
