Just checking in on your progress' date='ready to see some pics.[/quote']
Didn't get to do much yesterday but get supplies. Today I plan on drawing out all the cuts from the cutsheet and then ripping into it if I can.

Its 12 pieces of wood + braces and such.

This is probably the most complex box I have designed so far And I can only thank god there are no angles in this one!

Correct Tint in the mail for the front windows(Still have the old tint for sale)

Also Have a shipping confirmation from RaaMmatt.

Definitely going to be busy the next week or so.

So i rememberd That i told my buddy I set a goal of 5000 views of this thread before I start building the subwoofer box... Looks like I hit the nail right on the head!

Started cutting drawing/cutting at 12:00 pm and it is now 2:47 here. Taking a break finally, its only 97 degrees out but feels hot as hell when you have little shade.

I got all the rip cuts done and a few precision cuts, But Id say im about 3/5 done cutting all the pieces.

Found a new technique formyself when cutting with a skill saw because sometimes u cant shove a 50"x41" piece of mdf on my tiny saw stand.

This has been used before by many other members but I used to just freehand as straight as i could than take it to the saw to clean it up.... well I cant adjust my fence to 50" inches so i have to be as accurate as i can with the skill saw on these long pieces.

I just took a leveler and clamped it down about 33mm from the cutting line. This was the distance of the saw blad(skill) to the edge of the skill saw. That way I just kept it pushed up against the rail of the level and it made an almost perfect cut.

I dont see why I never tried it before, it would have helped alot in the past.

It helps to know how to do something many different ways even if you get the same result.

Enough blaber, I think the saw dust is getting to my head =/ ( just wait till i start glueing!)

I dont have any pics atm cuz i dont like pulling out my shitty camera when all the dust is around. So when im done with all my final cuts ill post up some pics and see how accurate they are.

Got wood? I do (atleast 200lbs of it)

And yes... I was lame enough to take a picture of the tires

All in all that took me about 4.5hours including bathroom/water breaks and walking around aimlessly a few times.

Still got lots of work left to do =/ min of 2 days just to get the **** thing together

Ok so I Slapped a little glue and wood together today. Its around 103 and pretty humid so i just decided to put everything away after a while and bail. I was barefoot and the cement burnt my feet pretty good.

Anyways I know just about all you dont even read what I write so on to the camera phone pics!!!!

small test fit

Box is looking great so far. Any pics of the kerf? Out of curiosity what are the specs?
Well the box was looking great untill I threw that last 2 pieces on. Something wasnt lining up and the screws werent long enough to go through 3 pieces of mdf so theres some gaps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif.

Nothing a little trimming and bondo cant fix i guess. It will just take some more time. Box is all put together though and its pretty big/heavy. Ill find my camera and upload pics soon..

oh btw..

I changed up the specs a bit.

6.8 ft^3 tuned to 35 hz
