Do you guys solder or crimp or tape

your head unit harness wires together?

just wondering i don't feel like digging in the garage for an old soldering gun, so could i just tape the wires after twisting them together and have the same secure connection?

sometimes a little tape just to be safe

solder...that way you really never have to check those wires if something goes wrong... if you know you do a good job... If you start getting a short, or something starts cuttin in and out... you know where YOU are going first.

yeah i'm just going to get a new gun and solder iron tomorrow from somewhere, don't feel like lookin for an old pos solder thing in my garage.

So i will do solder then electrical tape over it

I just started soldering my ring terminals (I know it's not what you are doing) and I love it, so much better than crimping.

use masking tape
