odd problem, crackling sound from speakers...

Ok I have an odd problem, just installed a bb1250.1 amp in my truck (it’s running 2 xplods for now) and after setting everything up with a CD in, I went to see what was on the radio and come to find out every time the bass hits, I get a high pitched crackling sound from all the speakers. Any idea what the problem is here?

my good friend has that same problem. but it was in diamond d 6 and yeah he took it into the shop yesterday and they couldnt figure it out. he came with me to my jl dealer and they said take it to diamond so ur prob gonna have to take it to your dealer.

What I find strangest about it is, it ONLY does it while on the radio.. Not CD's or Ipod or anything of that sort..

OK, well I figured something out, the amp is somehow messing with the ant reception, like if I unplug the RCA’s radio stations come in clear. BUT (leaving it on the same station) I plug them back it, it starts picking up another station, mind you I never touched the dial. What the hell is going on here?

most things are required by the FCC to accept interference you see the little sticker on the back of portable cd players and other electronics, unsure of the exact cause?

Well since I could find any answer here that really fit my problem, I called planet audio. Their tech support told me it’s due to it being so close to my head unit seeing as it’s a Class D the high frequencies from the amp will interfere with radio station frequencies.

Yeah same here, mostly Ipod or CD's but just happened to flip to the radio while changing a CD to find this out.

Anyone know how the Pioneer AVH-P5000DVD is? Or point me in the right direction for a in-dash DVD/CD player?
