OK, so the guy who started this thread obviously has at least a mild case of paranoid delusions. The conspiracy theory is interesting, but without factual references to check on the accuracy of your statements, I take this as pure commentary by someone who thinks people are out to get him.

Maybe I am wrong. If so, your point is very obscure. Why have you started this thread? We all know the War On Drugs is a waste of tax payer money, but not for the reasons you stated. Are you looking for people to buy into your theory? I know that misery loves company, and if you really believe what you wrote, you have to feel pretty miserable.

If you are looking for a change, start by voting in someone else to represent you in Congress, someone who will find a new way to deal with addiction in this country. It will, however, require a monumental paradigm shift for the general public, and that will not happen overnight. It will require people to accept a different view of addiction and alcoholism and it will require us to stop thinking we can get everything "right now" or by driving to a drive through window (or curb side, in the case of the neighborhood drug dealer).

Police need to go back to the days where they would just take the piss ant drug dealer selling dime bags at the bus stop, drive him to the outskirts of town, beat the life out of him, and tell him: "we don't want a drug problem in our town. If you come back, there will be a problem, and it will be worse than what you have now, capiche?" and they tell him to start walking out of town and don't come back. That saves a lot of tax dollars and no jails get filled up with these scumbags.

Fuster, the problem is.. to you everything you just said is realistic but to this guy... well lets just be honest, you lost him at "voting in someone else to represent you in Congress".. you gotta keep in mind this guy probly flips whoppers for a living and on his days off watches spike lee movies and feels like since his life is so shitty it has to the Gov's fault
