Yea.. I read that as well. The amp I was looking at getting was a PG RSD1200.1. Should I look at getting another amp that has a higher input level so that I dont risk ruining anything? I just need one that runs 1200 rms.

You won't hurt the amp. You'll only achieve max voltage @ or near full volume with 0dB material, and that's only for a split second anyway.

You'll be fine.
