Hi there my Car as an oversize stereo mounting hole and I was thinking of adding a New Alpine HU 7892 and since I have the extra space use it for an alpine in-dash equilizer probably the G-180 or the G190...

Would I have better SQ using the in dash eq?

If your gonna run two amp's if work great but if your only gonna run 1 sub amp look into a epic center or bass cube. Eq work very well with a full set system. Let you tune eveything to your likeing.

The HU I wanna get is the Alpine CDA-7892 it has a 4volt subwoofer output and 2 2volt front and rear outputs...

How much will the Four.1 help me?

THX

not SPL --------maybe SQ if you had a impedance related noise issue

in overall sound out put, be it quality or getting every watt out of your amplifers, it helps geatly in knoise reduction, but then there is other thing s you can do to get rid of noise, usually balanced out puts like 16volts does the trick
