Do I need to upgrade?

Anyways I currently run a PA400.2 and a JBLBP600.1. Wiring is 4g knukonceptz kolossal sp? wire, about

I still need to install my RE SX and the new Hifonics BX1205D amp I just purchased. I was wondering if my wiring was sufficient to power the Hifonics, thanks. I do know that I will have to change out the fuses in the 4g and in the distro block.

BTW yes, Im planning on doing the amazingly great BIG 3

So you'll have three amps? Or are you replacing the JBL with the Hifonics?

If your just replacing, you could probably get away with the 4awg. Although, if you have the cash, I would go ahead and upgrade now. It sounds like you have bigger and better things planned, seeing how you already upgraded two pieces in your system.

Instead of running an 8awg line to the hifonics off of the distro, run one 4awg. It'll help with current draw a bit if you decide not to upgrade your wire.

I would get around to doing the "amazingly great BIG 3". It does help. Don't bash on it if you havn't done it yet. Use the biggest wire you can afford.

The Big 3 will help alot. My lights have not went dim once since I did the big three to my car. I was thinking that the big three wasn't even worth it till i tried it. I would definantly recommend the big 3 to anyone.

I'm replacing the JBL with the Hifonics, yes.

I'm only bashing the BIG 3 b/c I havent seen first hand experience you know? So far its all internet read material. I will do it tho.

So will going into a 1/0g > fused block > 2 4ga > to each amp be more than enough?

btw can anyone recommend me some 1/0 g or so wiring so I can do the Big 3
