Here's what you do.
Battery, ~6" of 0 gauge, fuse, whole run of 0 gauge, distro block, another ~6" of wire from distro block, fuses, rest of wire, amps.

why waste 2 fuses? there is something called the law of conservation of something. more electricity isnt going to teleport between the 1/0 and the smaller gauge off the distro block

You're always supposed to fuse when going from a larger to smaller gauge wire. It didn't look like that distroblock had much for fusing, so I suggested a couple stand-alone fuses. Can't hurt. Only noticable conservation you'd gain by avoiding the fuses is for your wallet.

My bad, didn't see the drop-down menu that offers up to 150A fuses for each circuit. You should be just fine with that then. No need to fuse after the distro.

Doesn't mean that your setup was right or smart. I wouldn't count on luck forever.

Actually you only need to fuse when you step down if the previous fuse is larger than the rated capacity of the smaller wire. In my system I have 1/0 from the battery and a 150A fuse under the hood. I have unfused 4 ga coming off a distro that I'm not at all worried about because the underhood fuse is the right size for the 4ga (smaller wire).
