Do I need a distribution block?

Oem fuses EVERYTHING. How big is the factory fuse on that wire? If you can run both your new amps without blowing the fuse or replacing it with a larger fuse then you are good. It makes no difference whether you T off or use a distribution block as long as the joint is solid and insulated/protected properly.
No idea how big the oem fuse is, I haven't check, but I guess it doesn't matter at this point because I decided to go with using new 12v lines for both amps. :) Thanks though!

Follow idkcaraudio's advice to the letter...plus.....add a $60.00 , 7-band rotary EQ of some kind. Brand really doesnt matter as long as its rotary not slide. and you will be amazed at the increased quality of your sound. No comparison between what you have now and what it will be. remember, no chassis gnd longer than 18"s....and you might call a car audio shop tec and have them add up your amps watts and do the calculations....you should be okay with the 150 fuse and wire gauge but a 200 fuse and one size gauge wire may be better. Also check your alternator output rating. If you get headlights flashing you will need to add a capacitor. I upgraded a huge alternatoer and a second battery to my sytem.....wahoo...cuckoo fer cocoa puffs! Best of luck to you.
