Do i need a bigger fuse?

Today i put in my H/O alt. (205a) and did the "big 3" with 1/0 wire

i ran 1/0 from pos on alt to pos on battery...then ran ground from neg on battery to chassy and then ran another ground from neg battery to engine... Does that sound right??

And also i put in my new fuse for my new amp and i ran 1/0 to the amp thru the fuse holder and the fuse in a 200a fuse....is that big enough

thats fine. fuse for the capacity of the wire.

ok i was just wondering b/c i was reading around today and some ppl said to have a 250a-300a fuse and i was crap.

200-300 for 1/0 is acceptable.
